  1. She was not any dumb blonde. Only those days that was the way Hollywood wanted and she wanted the attention and the fame. She was educated with an IQ of 163. She would play piano and violin. So sad that she had to go so tragically and unexpectedly.

obviously, the girl can't help it, she's in love with me…………AHHHHHHHHH!

I have been down hwy 91 just inside the LA state line where the crash occurred, no markers then but according to youtube, there are some now.

  3. Amazing song done full justice by Little Richard… written (i think!) by Bobby Troupe of Route 66 fame. Such a pity that imaginative, witty songs like that could never be written in today's 'politically correct' times.

  4. Jayne was the real thing. If she had posed a la Kim Kardashian bare assed, it would have been a thing of beauty. Jayne had a genius level IQ & was a talented comedienne. Not to mention ridiculously gorgeous & sexy.

  5. Love the 1957 Lincoln Premiere convertible. It used to drive me crazy, I knew the movie was 1956, but she drove a 57 model. I then heard that the movie came out in Nov. of 56.The new models were out.

  6. Thank you for posting this! Frank Tashlin was the perfect director for this 1956 classic from 20th Century-Fox. He was able to let Jayne go wild with her over the top, yet natural for her, sexuality. This sort of set the standard for all drag queens to follow!!.
